Easy Breakfast Ideas for your Next Disney Vacation

Disney in room breakfast idea - mickey waffles

The kids and I took an impromptu trip to Orlando after finding some really great Frontier deals. We didn’t have money for Disney, but with lodging, at the Hilton Grand Vacations Las Palmeras, secured via timeshare points, I knew we’d figure out what to do once we got there. Something I did figure out beforehand, Disney in-room breakfast ideas.

The number one place money seems to go to (after lodging) is food. I love a good Disney restaurant as much as the next person, but I don’t care for the price – especially when it comes to breakfast. Many of the items on the served on the buffet, or even full service, are things you can easily throw together in your room whether you have a full kitchen or a kitchenette … we had the latter.

Here are 5 days of breakfast, for 3 people, at under $50, that took less than 15 minutes to whip up in the kitchenette.

Sunday

Day one you have to have some Disney magic, so it was a no brainer to have Mickey-shaped Eggo waffles. I finished them off with fresh strawberries and extra creamy whipped cream because is there any other way to have Mickey-shaped waffles?

Total cost: $13.96

Monday

I love muffins. They’re so yummy and easy and just say “breakfast” to me. I grabbed some bakery muffins, warmed them up in the microwave so they’d have that fresh from the oven comforting feeling, and served with cut up strawberries and yogurt parfaits.

Total cost: $15.47

Tuesday

I generally don’t like oatmeal in the pack and try to stay away from microwaving in general (even though you probably can’t tell from Monday’s muffin warm-up) but my son requested the fruit-flavored oatmeal packets, so we cooked this up with fresh banana mixed in

Total cost: $2.74

Wednesday

I grabbed a 4 pack of fresh bagels from the deli and we ate these with fresh grapes.

Total cost: $6.46

Thursday

This was an early departure day for us, so I kept it simple with Toaster Strudels (we each ate 2 each a piece because they’re too yummy to just eat one) balanced out with bananas

Total cost: $2.94

I also purchased 2-64oz bottles of Tropicana Orange Juice because what’s breakfast without a little oj?

Total cost: $6.68

What are some other Disney in-room breakfast ideas that you use when you’re saving your money for other things?
