2019 One Word of the Year

Happy New Year! I can’t even believe it’s a new year already. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was in DC bringing in 2018 and now I’m back bringing in 2019. Last year was my first year picking one word for the year and I honestly don’t even recall what it was. I could easily go back to that blog post to find out what it was but the fact I even have to do that tells me I didn’t follow through; I have a huge issue with consistency.

One Word

Being consistent is one of those habits that if you don’t get into early in life, it’s just so hard to hold onto. The only thing I’ve ever really been good at being consistent about is being inconsistent. One thing will throw me off from the path I’ve been traveling and I have the hardest time getting back on track. For the coming year, I want to be more consistent with my choices.

Personal Health

I want to return to the person I once was who was more active. Who was more conscious of her food input in terms of it being organic and/or all natural and be consistent about those things in order to work on my physical health. I want to be more consistent with taking time for me in order to work on my mental health. I would even like to attend church to work on my spiritual health.

Blogging

I definitely want to be more consistent with blogging. It’s something I’ve talked about repeatedly and just haven’t implemented. I’ve got so many thoughts on where I’d love to see this blog go for 2019 and know it will only get there with daily actions. Consistent posting, marketing, interacting, networking, and pitching are all on the agenda for 2019.

Let’s see where intentional consistency can really take you.
